A different finish can change the character of a working cab without replacing its dashboard. The Scania NG-Series 12-piece basic interior trim kit adds decorative overlays to selected existing surfaces. Here is what to check before choosing a finish and ordering.
What does the basic kit change?
The SCANG24BASE is a 12-piece basic decorative set for the Scania NG-Series from 2024 onward. The pieces are adhesive-backed overlays for prepared original surfaces, not replacement dashboard panels. A basic set provides selected coverage; it should not be treated as a full-cabin package.

Check the dashboard, not just the model name
Before ordering, compare the actual dashboard layout with a confirmed parts diagram for the selected kit. Check the display surround, switches, vents and console shapes. Select the appropriate left-hand-drive or right-hand-drive option; a model name or registration year alone does not confirm compatibility.
- Provide the model year and steering-wheel position.
- Photograph the dashboard straight on, with close-ups of the display and console.
- Ask for the exact 12-piece layout and confirm any equipment differences.
- Check which illustrated areas are included before committing to a finish.

Choose the appearance that suits your cab
The product selector includes dark, medium and light burl-wood looks, walnut-style finishes, carbon-look options and solid colours. Dark Burl Wood 388 is the selected option on the page inspected for this guide. Choose your preferred finish on the product page before adding the kit to your basket.
Finish names describe appearance: a wood-style or carbon-look name should not be read as a promise of solid wood or structural carbon fibre. Consult the dashboard trim material guide and confirm the construction of the chosen finish. Screen settings and lighting can affect perceived colour.

Prepare before removing the backing
- Dry-fit each piece. Leave its backing attached and compare the edges and openings with the intended position.
- Prepare the surface. Follow the supplied instructions to remove dust, grease and dashboard-treatment residue.
- Align carefully. Do not cover controls, vents, safety markings or airbag deployment areas. Stop if a shape does not match.
- Follow the fitting instructions. Use the specified temperature, pressure and waiting time before cleaning or stressing the edges.
